Position Summary
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive market development initiatives and lead a team of Account Managers. This pivotal role is essential for expanding their customer base, delivering technology solutions, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate must have significant exposure to the financial/banking sector and C-suite connection/networking.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team, setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and support.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture that ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Achieve or exceed fiscal sales budget targets through effective market development strategies.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth.
- Ensure team compliance with company processes, record-keeping, and reporting requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and lead major opportunities, accounts, and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee trade shows and customer events.
- Conduct regular team meetings, liaise with vendors and partners, and attend relevant management meetings.
- Manage sales forecasts, inventory, and accounts receivables, ensuring adherence to financial budgets and forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in sales management, including two years in a senior managerial role.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong leadership, planning, organizing, and time management skills.
- Ability to balance business needs with IT solutions and effectively manage conflicts and risks.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and accountable with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative to address issues and drive results.
