Additional Details	September 14, 2020 Dear Dr Semaj, Re: Invitation to Speak at the Lupus Foundation of Jamaica’s Annual Symposium, November 1, 2020 The Lupus Foundation of Jamaica will be hosting its Annual Symposium on a virtual platform on Sunday, November 1, 2020 starting at 10:00 a.m. and we would like to invite you to be one of our speakers. The Lupus Foundation (LFJ) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that was established in 1984. The objective is to enhance the quality of life of persons living with Lupus. To achieve this, the Foundation seeks to create better awareness and a deeper understanding of the disease, undertake advocacy for better access to treatment and support for patients and families, as well as promote research in the field. With the particular focus on “Embracing New Normals in Lupus Management, Research and Life”, the Symposium will bring together persons living with the disease, researchers and health professionals who will share in an environment of learning. The topic “The Way Forward: Life during and post-Covid: Adapting to New Normals” will be presented through a panel discussion. We would like you to one of our five expert panelists. You are being asked to speak on retooling for the new work or school ‘space’ and for a new job during covid-19. Each panelist will be given 5-7minutes to make opening/introductory remarks and then would later field questions from the audience. The panel discussion is slated to start around 12:30-1:00pm We are anticipating your favourable response and look forward to sharing in your knowledge and expertise.
