Position Summary 

Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resource Manager is responsible for formulating, implementing, and monitoring HR strategies, policies, and practices. Key responsibilities include staff training, manpower planning, maintaining industrial relations, and fostering a productive management-staff relationship.

Competencies:

  • Understanding and explaining company strategy to develop HR strategies.
  • Flawless execution of HR administrative processes.
  • Designing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Providing a strategic interface between HR and line management.
  • Creating open communication and trust between employees and employer.
  • Assessing and developing the company's change management capability.
  • Maintaining knowledge of labor laws and presenting changes to management.
  • Administering departmental budget effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and oversight of the department's strategic plan and budget.
  • Implementation of the company-wide employee appraisal system.
  • Reporting significant disciplinary matters to the General Manager.
  • Designing and maintaining a rewards and recognition program.
  • Managing the staffing process, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Developing and implementing HR systems, processes, and standards.
  • Participating in collective bargaining processes and maintaining a competitive compensation program.
  • Providing leadership in customer service and quality.
  • Continuous assessment of operations and provision of reports for decision-making.
  • Development of training and development policies and strategies.
  • Handling employee conflicts and overseeing grievance and conflict resolution meetings.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to direct reports for personal and career development.

Restriction: Maintaining a strictly professional relationship with staff members, refraining from engaging in inappropriate personal relationships.
