Position Summary
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Warehouse Manager oversees efficient warehouse operations, safety protocols, and product integrity. Responsibilities include inventory control, staff management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and manage inventory to prevent losses and discrepancies.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Maintain equipment and oversee receivals and deliveries.
- Implement company policies and safety regulations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of warehouse and yard areas.
- Coordinate with security and customs personnel for container inspections and removal.
- Assist with inventory management and product rotation.
- Create a safety-focused culture through training and inspections.
- Handle customer service requests and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in management studies, logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Leadership experience and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment.
- Forklift certification desired.
